Meet the Artist

Hi, I’m Denise Prehn. When I’m not spending time with my family, you’ll usually find me in my art studio creating something new.

Art has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. As a child, I loved exploring all kinds of arts and crafts, always curious and eager to try new techniques. About six years ago, I truly found my passion in mixed media art using glass and resin. Along the way, I’ve been fortunate to learn from some incredible instructors and mentors who helped shape my artistic journey.

Teaching and helping others has always been close to my heart. Even though my career originally led me down a different path, I consistently found myself in roles where I was training, guiding, and supporting others. Eventually, I realized I could combine my love for art with my passion for teaching—and that realization brings me to where I am today.

Today, I create glass and resin artwork and also lead engaging paint classes and creative experiences. But why stop there? Creating art has so many benefits—it builds confidence, reduces stress, encourages self-expression, and is truly for all ages and skill levels.

My goal is to spread joy, creativity, and connection, and to inspire others to live a healthier, happier life through art.
